THE BOY CAN SING

I can't believe its bee so long since I've posted anything. Time has a way of getting away from me sometimes. oct 11 was the big production of WORKING at Missouri Valley College. We made the big trip to Marshall, as did Mom and Dad, James and Tara, and Pat and Linda. I was blown away by Casey's performance!! Always knew the kid had a great relationship with the stage, but tonight he owned it. Commanding performance as a steeleworker, and the boy has some pipes! I've heard him sing before, but nothing like this. I have a little snippet from the show, camera work isn't great, but I hope you can get the jist of his performance.

As one who was lucky enough to be present for Working on Nov 11th, I have to agree with Laura. Casey owned the stage! We throughly enjoyed the production. Having seen his appearances at O'Hara, I am so impressed with the growth and confidence he demonstrated in Working. His singing was fantastic and I loved the song that is featured on the blog. Can't wait for the Chirstmas program! I know he prefers being behind the scenes, working on lighting, costumes and scenery, but we truly enjoyed his performance on the stage. WAY TO GO CASEY! Thanks for a wonderful memory.

Great job Casey! Wish we could have been there. Doug said, "I think he's supposed to be a blue collar worker. But a blue collar worker singing in a musical...I just don't get that." We'll have to work on him.
